Reading Rome is a daily practice of looking carefully at one city for a year. One photograph and one short observation, every day, on Rome's design, food, rituals, language, and everyday textures.

It is not travel writing, lifestyle content, or a record of an expat year. Reading is the right word for what this is.

The work runs from autumn 2026 to autumn 2027. Weekly summaries arrive by email on Sunday mornings, Rome time. The daily photo and observation appear on Instagram (@readingrome).
