Marble, not paint — the Roman street sign treats a name like it deserves permanence, chiseled into the same stone as a monument, the rione number tucked in the corner like a footnote nobody asked for but everyone respects. *Babuino* means baboon, after a crude old statue nobody quite liked. The city kept the joke and carved it in stone anyway. RR
